Privacy policy
This page explains what Minecraft Download (minecraftdownload.com.pk) does—and does not—collect when you read the guides or use the contact form.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the independent fan guide published at minecraftdownload.com.pk. The site is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. It does not sell Minecraft and does not host APK or installer files.
If you follow a link away from this website—for example to Google Play, the App Store, Minecraft.net, or Minecraft Help—those destinations have their own privacy policies. This page does not control them.
Accounts and browsing
You do not need an account to read any page. There is no login, no member profile, and no newsletter signup built into this project.
Reading a guide alone does not require you to send a name or email address. Ordinary web requests still reach the server that hosts the site (see hosting logs below).
Cookies and tracking
These pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising tags, or social pixels from this project. The site does not set its own tracking cookies.
Your browser may still store its own data (for example cache or preferences). That is controlled by you and your browser, not by a cookie banner on this site.
Contact form
The optional form on the Contact Us page lets you send a message about guides, corrections, broken links, feedback, or business questions. Submitting the form is voluntary.
When the form is configured for delivery, your message is sent by email to the site operator. Your email address is used as Reply-To so a reply can go straight to you. This website does not keep a public database of contact messages.
Fields we receive
| Field | Required? | Why we ask |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Yes | So we know who wrote and how to address a reply |
| Email address | Yes | So we can reply; also set as the email Reply-To |
| Topic | Yes | To sort the enquiry (question, correction, feedback, and so on) |
| Relevant page URL | Optional | To find the guide or page you mean |
| Message | Yes | The content of your enquiry |
What not to send
Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, one-time codes, government ID numbers, or other sensitive secrets in the message. We do not need them to fix a guide or answer a site question, and email is not a good place to store them.
How delivery works
Message delivery uses a server-side email service (configured with environment variables on the host). API keys and mailbox addresses are not exposed in the browser. If delivery is not configured, the form will show an error instead of pretending the message was sent.
Spam protection includes a honeypot field, server-side validation, and a simple rate limit. Those checks may use a connection identifier (for example an IP address from request headers) only to limit abuse—not to build a marketing profile.
Hosting and server logs
When the site is hosted on a platform such as Vercel or another web host, that host may keep ordinary connection logs (for example time, IP address, requested URL, and user agent). This project does not run its own analytics product on top of those logs and does not define a separate retention period for logs it does not collect itself.
Check your host’s privacy documentation for how long server logs are kept and how to request access or deletion under the laws that apply to you.
Children
The guides are written for a general audience interested in Minecraft. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing. Minecraft itself has age ratings and parental controls set by Mojang, Microsoft, and the stores that sell the game—those rules are separate from this fan site.
Changes to this policy
If how the site handles data changes in a meaningful way—for example adding analytics or storing contact messages in a database—this page will be updated to match. The current text reflects the behaviour of the code in this project: static guides plus an optional contact form.
